NCAA Final Four Appearances by Seed (2024)

NCAA Final Four Appearances by Seed

You will find two different tables below. The first table shows the number of times that each seed has made it to the final four. The percentage is calculated by taking the total number of times a particular seed has made it to the final four and dividing it by the total number of teams that have reached the final four. The second table shows a list of all of the Final Four teams and their seed, along with the winner and the runner up. The NCAA did not start seeding teams until 1979, so all other years will only list the teams that played. The tables are up to date as of the end of the 2022 season. There have been a total of 172 Final Four appearances. Also check out the percentages of NCAA Tournament Championships Per Seed and NCAA Tournament Upsets by Seed articles.
