Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil Facts

  • 8 drops Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)
  • 8 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
  • 4 drops Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
  • 4 drops Sandalwood (Santalum album)
  • 2 oz Jojoba Oil
  • 2 oz Lotion Pump Bottle

Directions: Add essential oils to glass bottle, fill rest of bottle with jojoba oil (or carrier oil of choice). Apply to chest, neck and arms as desired.

Sweet Sleep Diffuser Blend

Enjoy this sweet blend at bedtime

  • 3 drops Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)

Directions: Add oils into 10 ml Rollerball bottle and fill rest of bottle with jojoba oil (or favorite carrier oil). To use, roll on neck and shoulders to relieve muscle discomfort. 3% dilution.

Relaxing Marjoram Bath Soak

Soak away your worries and relax after a long day

  • 3 drops Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
  • 2 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
  • 1 drop Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)
  • 1 tablespoon Jojoba oil
  • 1/4 cup Pink Himalayan Salt

Directions: Combine oils together, mix in pink salt. Add into warm bath water, swirl water with hands to disperse mixture. Makes one bath soak.

Nap Time Diffuser Blend

The blend name says it all...Nap Time!

  • 3 drops Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
  • 3 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
  • 2 drops Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin)

Directions: Add essential oils to diffuser with recommended water.

Easy Moving Joints Blend

Stiff and sore joints can really hamper the day you have planned, try this blend of powerful oils to assist you in your daily activities.

  • 6 drops Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
  • 4 drops Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
  • 2 drops Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata)
  • 1 oz Trauma Oil
  • 1 oz Lotion Pump Bottle

Directions: Combine all ingredients into bottle, shake to blend. Apply small amount where needed. 2% dilution.

Menstrual Cramp Relief Roller

Relieve the discomfort suffered during the menstrual cycle.

  • 5 drops Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea)
  • 3 drops Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
  • 2 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Evening Primrose Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Jojoba oil

Directions: Add all ingredients together in a 10 ml Rollerball bottle. Massage in a clockwise motion around the abdomen and lower back. Let the oil absorb in.

General Essential Oil Precautions

Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucous membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified practitioner. Keep out of reach from children.

Use essential oils with extreme caution on children, be sure you have researched the oil and that it is safe for use on kids. Plant Therapy clearly labels their oils "KidSafe" on the bottle if the oil can be used for children ages 2–10.

If applying an essential oil topically (on your skin), you may perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body, use 1-2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil like jojoba oil, read more here.
